Blog Example Post 1

This is a template that you can use for your blog posts. Here are some recommendations for how to add your blog content.

Start with an introduction. This should explain what your blog is about, be engaging & get your reader to read onto the next post. Bold any words or phrases that are really important in your intro.

Use your headers to break up the post

For your headings, make sure you’re using them in a hierarchy - so the first set of sub headers are H2s, and if you need to break up a section under the H2 more, use H3 and then H4.

So this is a sub point underneath using your headers to break up your post

And then if we need to have other smaller points underneath a header 3, use your H4.

And now we go back to a header 2 for the next main point.

Write in short sentences, paragraphs & use bullets

Make your blog post easy to navigate & move through by keeping things short, sweet & to the point. Organise your information logically.

Add images

Make your post more interesting by adding relevant images. Make sure these are compressed & you’ve added alt text.

Add links

Internal links

These are to other pages or blogs on your site

External links

These are links to other webpages. Make sure that these open in a new window.

Add calls to action

Make sure you also add calls to action where relevant to your services pages, your work with me page or to sign up to your email list. This could also be an encouragement to add a comment to your blog post.

Conclude your blog
